DCCC Supporting Active Donegal Month – ‘Just Try It’ Competition!

In support of Active Donegal Month, DCCC are calling on all early childhood service to organise an innovative and fun parent & child active event. All you have to do is complete our registration form found below and on our Facebook page and return by Friday 25th May 2012. Once you have carried out your parent & child active event all you have to do is send us a picture of your event and some details about what you did, who and how many took part and what the benefits were to be returned to DCCC by 15th June 2012 to be entered into our ‘Just Try It’ Competition to win 1 of 5 Buntús Start Bags.

DCCC Annual Report 2011

It is an honour and pleasure to be able to present the Donegal County Childcare Committee Ltd (DCCC) Annual Report for 2011.

Having been established in 2001, DCCC’s mission continues to be to promote positive outcomes for children and their families.This is becoming increasingly dificult with the numerous challenges presented by our National debt and fiscal restraints. However, it will not be possible to absorb any further cuts in funding without seriously effecting the provision of our service to children and their families.

Presents for Percy – BUALADH BOS!

19 December 2011 marked the final day of the Presents for Percy Appeal.

Money donations to the appeal amounted to a massive €6,500 and this money was mainly used to purchase a range of requested big ticket items such as bicycles and helmets, mobile phones, Playstation 3’s, Nintendo 3DS’s, Xbox 360’s, PSP’s, Flicker’s and helmets, trampolines, football nets and sports and leisure wear for teenagers…..
